India is renowned for its religious diversity, home to major religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Islam, Christianity, and Jainism. Hinduism, the predominant religion, has been shaped by various historical schools of thought, including the Upanishads, the Yoga Sutras, the Bhakti movement, and Buddhist philosophy.
